DigiBio Privacy Policy – Effective 20 February 2023
DigiBiomarkers, LLC (“DigiBio”) is sensitive to the concerns that you have about the use of the information that you disclose to DigiBio via its web and/or mobile application (collectively, the “Application”). Accordingly, this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets forth DigiBio’s privacy practices and the possible uses of the information that it gathers through the Application. DigiBio will not sell, share, or rent Your Information to others in ways different from those disclosed in this Policy.
Collection of Information
In connection with your use of the Application, DigiBio may request and/or collect certain personal information from you, which may include, without limitation, your name, email address, employer, and/or job title (“Your Information”). By entering Your Information via the Application or otherwise providing Your Information to DigiBio, you consent to DigiBio’s use of Your Information for purposes discussed herein.
Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:
- Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application(s), to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
- Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's sensors, microphone, camera, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
- Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our application(s), we may also collect information about the phone network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, and information about the features of our application(s) you accessed.
- Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Use of Information
DigiBio will use Your Information in administering and supporting the Application and in providing you access to appropriate functions of the Application. DigiBio will use Your Information in order to contact you and provide you with information regarding new features, updates, and other issues relating to the Tool and/or Application.
DigiBio will use also Your Information to respond to requests you may make of DigiBio. DigiBio may also refer to Your Information to better understand your needs and how DigiBio can improve the Tool and the Application.
Information Sharing
DigiBio may share Your Information with agents, contractors or partners in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, DigiBio. DigiBio may, for example, provide Your Information to agents, contractors or partners for hosting the Application, data processing services, or for sending materials to users of the Application.
DigiBio reserves the right to share Your Information in response to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law. DigiBio may also disclose Your Information if necessary for fraud protection and credit risk reduction purposes, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of DigiBio or the users of the Application or to act under urgent circumstances to protect the safety of DigiBio or its employees or a member of the public.
With regard to any of Your Information that is aggregated in a non-personally identifiable manner, such aggregated information may be disclosed to third parties and otherwise used by DigiBio as it deems appropriate.
DigiBio may also provide Your Information to a third party in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of DigiBio to which the information relates, in which case DigiBio will require any such buyer to agree to treat Your Information in accordance with this Policy.
Effective Date/Notification of Changes
Please note that DigiBio may update this Policy from time to time, and you should check this page periodically for changes. If changes are made, DigiBio will notify users by stating the date the Privacy Policy was last modified. This Policy was last modified on 20 February 2023.
